Sharing What Works

During show season, I am always looking for great ideas breeders are willing to share. This season has been no exception. Here’s a great idea from Kristi at Penny Ranch in Calhan, Colorado, that I saw at the Great Western Alpaca Show.

When constructing their show booth, Kristi and Art construct it so there is a small space at the back, hidden by the lattice that is behind their exhibit table. It is between that lattice and the actual back of the booth that they hide buckets and brooms and alpaca grooming gear. Then the booth looks clean and fresh, so passersby only notice the rolling photos on their laptop, the pick-up information, and the guest book where they can sign in with questions and requests for farm visits or more information. Nice job, Kristi and Art!
